At Thank You 5 Consulting we believe that learning is lifelong and everyone needs to start somewhere. Oftentimes in small theatres people do jobs that they have never done before but are interested in. We love to help people be set up for success and go into a project with some information. With that in mind we are offering a couple of classes that are done on zoom and will be a discussion/interactive learning environment to help you go into your next project with a little bit more knowledge than you had before.

First Time Director
Are you directing for the first time? This 3-hour class will teach you everything you need to know to prepare yourself for the first production meeting and how to be a collaborative director that designers and technical people love to work with. You will learn: how to set up a first rehearsal that will get your show off on the right foot; how to come into a process with an organized plan that will allow you to make needed changes along the way; how to make sure your show is ready for opening night so you can enjoy the success of the work you have put in; and finally, how to position yourself for the future opportunities and continue growing as a director.

Have you taken on the task of producing the next show at your theatre? Are you looking for tips and tricks and systems that will set your show up for success? In this 3- hour class we will look at the Process of Producing, including budget development, hiring, tracking costs/revenues, communication strategies, plus secrets to a stress-free process.
